Dave Boulton – Managing Director
Dave is a qualified topographic surveyor and has 24 years experience in the seismic industry working for contractors and as a freelance consultant. Dave began working in seismic as a surveyor on land crews before moving to marine. Dave began developing MultiSeis in 1997 and formed MPL in 2001, ceasing offshore work in 2005 to focus on MPL where he now divides his time between support, development and management duties.

Jim Duncan – Environmental Director
Jim began his career in the Scottish fishing industry ultimately skippering his own vessel for 11 years. With the downturn in the fishing industry Jim started working for the Scottish Fisherman's Federation as a fishing Representative and MMO, quickly becoming their pre-eminent consultant. It was whilst working for the SFF that Jim first met Dave Boulton in 1995 and a long friendship/association began. Jim created the MultiSeis MMO, MFO and FLR packages that available today.

Sean Murphy – Technical Support and Development
Sean is a qualified Electronics engineer and has 26 years experience in the seismic industry working for contractors and as a freelance consultant. Sean began developing MultiPlot QC in 1989 and began working with MPL in 2005 when work began on merging MultiSeis and Multiplot to create MultiStudio which was released in 2006. Sean still goes offshore occasionally to keep abreast of acquisition technology, but spends most of his time developing and supporting the QC tools of MultiStudio and will be involved primarily with the design of the next generation of MPL QC tools.

Kristian Kjelstad – Senior Programmer/Engineer
Kristian is a qualified Electronics engineer with 8 years experience in the Norwegian IT industry. Kristian is a first class programmer/software engineer and began working with MPL in 2007. Kristian has been the main developer of MultiSeis Live which has provided the 'Global' web based view of the MultiSeis/MultiStudio databases. As well as supporting MS Live Kristian is assisting with both the design and development of the next generation of MPL software.

Lars Gronning – Programmer
Lars is a qualified software engineer and has 10 years experience in the Norwegian IT industry. Lars is another first class programmer and began working with us in 2008. He has quickly become another valued member of the team constantly adding new ideas to outlined modules. Lars is currently working on the next generation of MPL software.

Matthew Bunn – IT and Software Support
Matt is the youngest member of our team and joined MPL mid 2008. Matt has a natural leaning towards IT, with a history of building and repairing computers as well as some web design. Matt studied Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and is currently studying to become a Microsoft Certified IT professional in XP/Vista/7.

Pamela Boulton – Administrator
Pamela joined the team early in 2008 following 4 years experience as an administrator. Pam has fitted into the team very well indeed, her administrative thoroughness was just what was required within a team of programmers where admin was a weakness. Pam is currently studying book-keeping and accountancy and will soon gain an ICB Diploma in Payroll management as well as Level 1 and 2 certificates in manual and computerised book-keeping.
